This makes it possible to analyse and simulate the internal structures and behaviours of rubber materials precisely and continuously from the nanometer scale to the micron scale. The objective is to achieve balanced high performance in terms of the three Key Tyre Performance Traits: Fuel Efficiency, Grip and Wear Resistance.
The ‘Advanced 4D Nano Design’ new materials development technology won the prestigious ‘Tyre Technology of the Year’ award at the ‘Tyre Technology Expo 2017,’ which was held last year in Hanover, Germany. The award is in recognition of the innovative work and cutting-edge technical capabilities in the field of new materials development.
